2017: Played in seven games. Laird was 59-140 for 962 yards and six touchdowns. Laird ran the ball 25 times for 18 yards. His longest completion was 81 yards which also resulted in a touchdown against Prairie View A&M. He also had the team season high of passing yards in a game (287) against Prairie View A&M. He was named to the SLC Commissioner’s Honor Roll with a 3.52 GPA.  

2016: Played in nine games behind center. He was 23-for-44 for 393 yards and four touchdowns. His longest completion went for 53 yards. He also rushed 14 times and had a season-long rush of 10 yards. He was named to the SLC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

Previous:  Laird was at Kansas State for the past two years but did not play.  He spent one season at Sacramento City College in 2013 where he played in two games before suffering a season-ending injury.  He went 43-of-83 for 507 yards and five touchdowns in his short stint.

High School:  Laird played football at Oakmont High School.  He passed for 1,859 yards and rushed for 668 yards with 25 total touchdowns as a senior.  He earned all-league honors as a senior.

Personal:  Laird is the son of Russell and Zhanna Laird and is studying business.  He has three brothers, Kaylee, Kalin and Chris and one sister, Lindy.  He was born on September 18, 1995.
