Davis Conley took over as the Director of Strength and Conditioning at UIW in January 2023.
He started at UIW in September of 2021 as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach before a stint at Lamar as the Director of Football Strength and Conditioning from March to October 2022. Conley returned to UIW in October before being promoted to head of the department in January.
Prior to UIW, Conley spent a year at Lousiana Tech as the Assistant Strength Coach and served as the Graduate Assistant Strength Coach at Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Conley got his start at Catawba College, serving as the Assistant Strength Coach from September 2017 - May 2018.
Learning from several different departments, he interned at big-name schools such as UCF, Middle Tennessee State University, University of South Carolina, LSU, and Florida Atlantic University.
Conley played football at LaGrange College in LaGrange, Georgia where he graduated with a Bachelor's of Business Administration with a focus in Entrepreneurship from 2012-2017.
He's a National Strength and Conditioning Association (NCSA) Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and he's also certified in CPR/AED.
