Biography

2023: Rich ended the season as the third-leading tackler for the Cardinals with 48 total tackles, two tackles for loss. 0.5 sacks, one quarterback hurry and one forced fumble. He notched a season-high 12 tackles at Lamar and was named to the Phil Steele Preseason All-Southland Team and the Bluebloods Preseason All-Southland team. Phil Steele named Rich to the Southland 2023 All-Conference Fourth Team. 

2022: Rich was a key contributor to the Cardinals defense in 2022, appearing in all 14 games. He finished the season with 54 tackles, 6 TFLs, 0.5 sacks, 1 FF, and 1 FR. His most productive game came against Texas A&M-Commerce where he registered 7 tackles. Rich had 8 games where he recorded 5 or more tackles and 7 games where he recorded a TFL.
