Biography

High School:  Carter led Gilmer to the 2014 4A State title with a perfect record.  He completed over 74 percent of his passes as a senior.  He passed for 3,969 yards and 48 touchdowns with only two interceptions during a 16-0 season.  He was the District 5-4A co-Offensive MVP after leading an offense that scored the second most points in state history and was also an academic all-district selection.  He was the Built Ford Tough Player of the Week in Week 7 of 2014.  He earned honorable mention All-State 4A honors as a senior.  As a junior, he attended Salado High School and passed for 2,887 yards, 24 touchdowns and 10 interceptions, including a game with 713 yards and eight touchdowns. 

Personal:  Carter is the son of Kyle and Jocelyne Carter and is studying nursing.  He is the half-brother of current NFL quarterback G.J. Kinne.  He was born on April 30, 1996.
