2012 (Junior):  Bass was the starting fullback for the Cardinals in his first season on the offensive side of the ball.  He had a key 47-yard reception in the season opening win over Texas College.  He had two catches for 22 yards and a touchdown at Midwestern State.  He had a season high three carries for 13 yards against Tarleton State.  He was an up man on kick returns and had two returns for 20 yards.

2011 (Sophomore):  Bass saw action in seven games on the defensive side of the ball and in special teams.  He had six tackles and a pass breakup in a win over Eastern New Mexico.
 
2010 (Freshman):  Bass played in all 11 games and compiled 32 tackles on the season.  He posted a season high 11 tackles in a loss to #11 West Texas A&M.  He had seven tackles and a tackle for loss at Tarleton State.  He finished the season with five tackles, a TFL and two pass breakups in a win over Texas A&M-Commerce.
 
High School:  Bass earned Honorable Mention All-State honors at Alvin High School.  He was named the county’s Defensive Player of the Year as a senior.
 
Personal:  Bass is the son of Mike Bass and Maria Mayville and is studying history.  He has five siblings; Matthew, James, Patrick, Morgan and Kathryn.  He was born on July 26, 1991. 
He helped start Fellowship of Christian Athletes and is the campus president.
