Biography

2025: As a redshirt sophomore, Petty appeared in 11 of UIW’s 12 games, contributing at right and left guard on the offensive line as well as on special teams. He was part of an offensive front that helped UIW rush for 2,171 yards on the season and made his first career start against Lamar at left guard.

2024: Saw action in five games for UIW this season.

2023: As a true freshman, Petty saw action in the three games for the Cardinals, playing against North American, Nicholls, and Houston Christian.

High School
Played at Highland Park High School under Head Coach Randy Allen… Served as a team captain his senior year. Petty received numerous honors including 5A District 7 First Team All-District as a junior and 6A District 7 First Team All-District as a senior.
