2019 (Senior)
Played in 12 games with four starts… recorded 35 tackles with 22 unassisted and 13 assisted… tallied 1.0 tackles for loss for two yards… had one interception and returned it six yards at UTSA… registered two pass breakups (against Texas Southern and at SLU)… forced one fumble against Nicholls.

2018 (Junior)
Played in all 11 games… racked up 20 unassisted tackles, plus seven assisted… had one interception and tallied 23 all-purpose yards.

2017 (Sophomore)
Appeared in all 11 games... posted 41 tackles which was the fifth-highest on the team (21 solo, 20 assisted)... also had five pass breakups and five passes defended... was named to the SLC Commissioner’s Honor Roll with a 3.31 GPA. 

2016 (Freshman)
Appeared in all 11 games... registered 10 solo tackles and five assisted for 15 total... had five tackles for loss, totaling one yard... also had one pass breakup and one quarterback hurry.

High School
On the football, basketball and track teams at The Colony High School... earned all-district and academic all-district honors in football... earned second team All-District 9-5A honors as a junior. 

Personal
Son of Ricky and Bernadette Covington... has two sisters... born on September 30, 1997... cousin, Blair Burns, played football at Wyoming... volunteers as a basketball coach for youth recreational leagues.
