2013 (Junior):  Lewis played all 11 games for the Cardinals as a backup cornerback.  He recorded 30 total tackles, including 22 solo tackles.  He picked off his only pass of the year in a win over Texas College.  He had five solo stops in a shutout of Langston.  He broke up two passes in a win over Eastern New Mexico.  He made a season high six tackles at Southeastern Louisiana.  He recovered a fumble in a win over Houston Baptist.

2012 (Sophomore):  Lewis worked his way into a starting role at corner back and led the team with four interceptions on the season.  He and Devan Avery formed one of the best corner back duos in the Lone Star Conference.  He picked off his first pass of the year against West Texas A&M and All-American quarterback Dustin Vaughan.  He had a season high seven tackles against Texas A&M-Commerce with five coming unassisted.  He had a season long 55-yard interception return in the season finale against Abilene Christian.

2011 (Freshman):  Lewis played in eight games in his first year with the Cardinals.  He had two tackles at Lamar and finished the year with five tackles.

High School:  Lewis played three sports at Gainesville High School.  As a senior he earned first team all-district honors at quarterback and defensive back and earned second team honors as a punter.  He was a two-time Second Team All-Area defensive back and earned first team all-district honors at the position as a junior.  He was a Regional qualifier in track.

Personal:  Lewis is the son of Chris and Shannon Lewis and is studying business.  He was born on January 2, 1993.
