Biography

2020 (Senior): (Spring 2021) Appeared in all six games as a power running back...finished with 19 carries for 113 yards...also recorded three receptions for 18 yards.

2019 (Junior): Played in 12 games, primarily as UIW’s short-yard running back… recorded 326 rushing yards on 73 attempts, with 326 yards gained and only five yards lost… averaged 4.4 yards per rush but led the team with nine rushing touchdowns, a mark that ranks fourth in single season rushing touchdowns in program history… the nine rushing scores also ranks sixth in career rushing TDs… chipped in one rushing two-point conversion… had a long rush of 26 yards at No. 23 Southeastern… ran for a season-best 73 yards twice (against Texas Southern and at SLU).

2018 (Sophomore): Appeared in 10 games… had 21 rushes for 74 yards… had a season-high 32 yards rushing against McNeese.

2017 (Freshman): Appeared in seven games... recorded 14 rushes for 24 yards. 

High School: Graduated from Navasota High School in 2017... played football for the Rattlers and competed in District 4A. 

Personal: From Navasota, Texas... son of Katherine and Kendrick Philio... has two siblings.
