Biography

2014:  Roberts red-shirted the season for the Cardinals.  He was named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2013 (Freshman):  Roberts signed with the Cardinals as a tight end, but was converted to defensive end after injuries knocked out a number of UIW defensive linemen.  He recorded his first career tackle at Southeastern Louisiana.  He had a season high three tackles and 1.5 tackles for loss in the season finale against Angelo State.  He finished the year with seven tackles.

High School:  Roberts played on three teams that advanced deep in the playoffs, including a State 5A Championship in 2010 and Runner-Up finish in 2011 at Cibolo Steele High School.  He earned second team all-district honors. 

Personal:  Roberts is the son of Mark and Lori Roberts and is studying criminal justice.  He has a sister, Ashley and he was born on January 25, 1995.
