University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2012 (Freshman):  Sadler did a little bit of everything for the Cardinals as a true freshman.  He played in all 11 games and had at least six carries in four games while serving in the kicking and return games.  He had a season high 13 carries for 68 yards and four catches for 47 yards at Midwestern State.  He picked up 64 yards on seven carries and had a season long run of 32 yards against McMurry.  He accumulated 26 yards rushing, 11 yards receiving, five yards on punt returns and even completed a pass for 21 yards at Texas A&M-Kingsville.  He finished the year with 197 yards rushing on 5.3 yards per carry and had 17 receptions for 132 yards.  He served as the team's pooch punter and had 16 punts with an average of 30.9 yards per kick with four ending inside the 20-yard line.

High School:  Sadler rushed for 3,887 yards and set a State scoring record en route to leading Devine High School to the State Quarterfinals.  He finished as the third-leading rusher in the nation and broke Kenneth Hall's 58-year old scoring record with 451 points on 58 touchdowns, 70 PATs, 12 two-point conversions and one field goal.  He averaged 10.1 yards per carry and 277 yards rushing per game.  He had 50 carries for 466 yards and five touchdowns against Hondo and then led Devine to a win over Wharton with 41 carries for 394 yards and seven touchdowns.  He also had 10 catches for 246 yards.  He scored 102 touchdowns and 7,038 rushing yards in his three-year career.

Personal:  Sadler is the son of Justin Sadler and Lacey Erxleben and is studying kinesiology.  He has a brother, Jacob, who is also on the UIW football team.  He was born on November 16, 1993.
