Norwood played a key role on Cardinal's special teams unit in his first year... Recorded 11 tackles, with four solo and seven assists... Made most notable appearance during the second round of the NCAA FCS Playoffs against Villanova, recording 3 tackles... Recorded two tackles in back-to-back games against Southeastern Louisiana (10/26) and Houston Christian (11/02).

Two-time winner of the Most Valuable Back Award... Helped lead Valor Christian School to the state championship game in 2021... Recorded more than 180 tackles during the last three years of his prep career at Valor Christian... Finished his senior year with 78 tackles (31 solo, 47 assisted) and 10.0 tackles for a loss... Recorded 44 tackles (23 solo, 21 assisted) and 6.5 tackles for a loss as a junior... First-team all-conference as a junior and senior...
