2022: Jones appeared in 2 games for the Cardinals but did not record statistics 

2021: Appeared in 7 games for the Cardinals in 2021. He finished the season with 3 receptions for 35 yards, all of which came against Houston Baptist on November 20.

2020 (Freshman): (Spring 2021)  Appeared in five games as a hybrid WR/TE and recorded 10 receptions for 100 yards and two touchdowns...had a career high six catches for 83 yards and one touchdown at Nicholls on March 27...also scored against Sam Houston on April 17.

High School: Played at Rockwall-Heath High School under Mike Spradlin in Sachse, Texas… as a senior, caught 43 passes for 1,074 yards and 14 touchdowns… was first team all-district and Player of the Year… combined with 17 rushing yards, had 1,90 all-purpose yards for an average of 109.0 all-purpose yards per game… as a sophomore, had 31 receptions for 324 yards and two touchdowns… three-time recipient of NAACP Award.
 
Personal: Full name is Jayden Trayvion Jones… started playing football at eight years old… chose UIW because “it has great energy and the people around San Antonio are the best”… parents are Tosha Vine and Herbert Jones… has three siblings… plans to major in meteorology with a goal of becoming a meteorologist.
