2014:  Ambres red-shirted the season.

2013 (Freshman):  Ambres appeared in all 11 games as a true freshman.  He recorded 14 tackles from his safety position.  He had two tackles and forced a fumble in a shutout win over Langston.  He notched a season high three tackles at Abilene Christian.  He recorded two tackles and an interception in a 47-43 win at McMurry.

High School:  Ambres was on the football and basketball teams at Manvel High School.  He earned first team all-district honors as a senior.  He recorded 35 tackles and had six pass breakups in 2012. 

Personal:  Ambres is the son of Christina Forbes and is studying criminal justice with a minor in sociology.  He has one sibling, Kasey.  He was born on September 10, 1994.
