Pronunciation: AH-kwee

2016: Competed in seven games. He had five solo and four assisted tackles for a total of nine. His tackle for a loss resulted in nine yards. He also had half a sack for two yards. He was named to the SLC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.

2015 (Freshman):  Acuay appeared in two games and made one tackle for the Cardinals.

2014:  Acuay red-shirted his first year at UIW.

High School:  Acuay was on the football and track teams at Wylie High School.  He earned first team all-district honors as a junior and senior in football and was the team's defensive player of the year in 2013.  He captained the team that advanced to the 4A State quarterfinals as a senior.

Personal:  Acuay is the son of Francisco and Karen Acuay and is studying computer information systems.  He has one brother, Joshua and three sisters; Victoria, Anastasia and Mariah.  He was born on February 8, 1996.
