University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2013 (Sophomore):  Hayes started all 11 games at right tackle.  He was a key cog on an offense that averaged nearly 360 yards per game and just missed gaining over 2,000 yards passing and rushing.  He helped protect a rookie quarterback who set nearly every UIW passing record available in 2013.  The offense gained over 200 yards rushing in five different games and went for a school record 396 at McMurry.

2012 (Freshman):  Hayes started all 11 games at right tackle.  He was one of the few starters who did not miss time due to injuries.  A key blocker for a team that averaged 31:25 in time of possession and whose top three running backs each averaged at least 4.6 yards per carry.  He was named to the LSC Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2011 (Red-Shirt):  Hayes red-shirted his first season at Incarnate Word.

High School:  Hayes attended Clemens High School in Schertz, TX.  He earned Second Team All-District 27-4A honors as a senior.

Personal:  Hayes is the son of Jackie and Michelle Hayes and is studying pharmacy.  He has a brother and a sister and was born on September 4, 1992.
