University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2017: Appeared in eight games. 

2016: Played in all 11 games. He was part of an offensive line that posted season bests of 191 yards rushing and 6.6 yards per rush at Texas State. He is a team captain in 2017.

2015 (Sophomore):  Taylor stepped into the role of starting right tackle and had a strong season.  He was a key part of an offense that averaged 343 yards and 20 points per game.  Overall, the offense averaged 5.0 yards per play.  He started the first 10 games of the year and missed the finale with an injury.

Previous:  Taylor spent two years as a member of the University of New Mexico football team.

High School:  Taylor was an All-District 11-4A selection at offensive guard and defensive tackle at Adamson High School.  He was a member of the 2012 All-North Texas Team.  As a senior he was an honorable mention All-State 4A selection, recognized as a second-team all-state selection by TheOldCoach.com and was TexasHSFootball.com 4A All-Region II first team on offense.  Adamson went 6-5 and advanced to the 4A Division I playoffs in 2012 and averaged 252 rushing yards per game.   He was a first team all-district selection as a junior and second team choice as a sophomore.  He started as a freshman and played every game during his four years.  He was a volunteer for the Special Olympics and a guide in the Adamson Mentoring Program that helps freshmen transition into high school.

Personal:  Taylor is the son of Mary Taylor and he is studying sociology. He has two siblings, Joseph and Adria. He was born on July 17, 1994.
