Biography

2023: Came back from injury towards the end of the 2023 season, playing in three game for the Cardinals. He recorded two tackles against Nicholls. 

2021: Appearing in all 13 games for UIW this past season, Heaggans finished the season with 35 total tackles. Highlighted by a career high 7 tackles against Southeastern Louisiana University on November 6, Haeggans finished the season being apart of the Cardinal’s top 10 tacklers. He would also be responsible for 6 pass break-ups, 1 tackle-for-loss and 1 fumble recovery.

2020 (Sophomore): (Spring 2021)  Appeared in four games with 19 tackles (9 unassisted, 10 assisted), two tackles for loss, two pass breakups, and one forced fumble...had a career high seven total tackles, one forced fumble, and one pass breakup against Sam Houston on April 17.

2019 (Freshman): Played in 10 games and had four starts… registered six tackles with five unassisted and one assisted… also recorded two pass breakups (against Texas Southern and at HBU).

High School: A dual threat quarterback who finished senior season with 1,539 passing yards and 1,186 yards on the ground… accounted for 33 touchdowns for Madison through senior year, 13 through the air, 18 on the ground and caught one touchdown reception… led team to a 9-3 record in second year as the starting quarterback… a two-star recruit on rivals.com.
