Justin Bane was named the Offensive Coordinator / Quarterbacks Coach at University of the Incarnate Word for the 2026 season after building a reputation as one of the top offensive minds in college football in Division II. Known for his explosive passing attacks, aggressive tempo, and elite quarterback development, Bane arrives in San Antonio following record-setting stops at West Texas A&M University and University of Central Missouri. 

In 2025, Bane coordinated one of the nation’s most productive offenses at West Texas A&M to a 8-3 record and a Heritage Bowl Victory. His offense averaged 487.1 total yards and 37.1 points per game while totaling 5,845 offensive yards and 61 touchdowns on the season. The Buffaloes threw for 4,289 yards and 37 passing touchdowns while averaging 357.4 passing yards per game. His offense also averaged 7.0 yards per play and produced 310 first downs during the season. 

Bane’s 2024 campaign at Central Missouri further solidified his status as an elite play-caller, leading the Mules to a 9-3 record and a Heritage Bowl victory. The offense remained one of the most potent in the country, averaging 39.08 points and 526.08 yards per game (6,313 total yards). The aerial assault continued to flourish under his watch, accounting for 4,735 passing yards and 40 touchdowns, while the ground game added 1,578 yards and 22 scores. This production resulted in seven All-Conference selections and two AP All-Americans, with his unit helping produce the Harlon Hill Winner and the Ron Lenz D2CCA National Offensive Player of the Year. 

In 2023, Bane engineered one of the greatest offensive seasons in Division II history at Central Missouri. Bane was named the Coordinator of the Year in Division II Football. Under his direction, the Mules led Division II in total offense (593.8 yards per game), passing offense (417.9 yards per game), and scoring offense (49.4 points per game). The offense shattered numerous school records, including total offensive yards in a season (7,721), touchdowns (89), points scored (642), and passing touchdowns (62). 

Bane’s quarterback development was highlighted by quarterback Zach Zebrowski, who produced one of the most prolific seasons in NCAA Division II history. Zebrowski is a two-time winner of the Harlon Hill Award which is given to the best player in Division II Football each year. Zebrowski set Division II single-season records for passing touchdowns (61), total offensive yards (5,690), touchdowns responsible for (63), and points responsible for (380). He also established multiple school and conference records, including 615 passing yards and eight touchdown passes in a single game against Emporia State. 

Bane’s offenses have consistently developed elite skill talent. Under his guidance, wide receiver Arkell Smith became Central Missouri’s all-time leader in receptions (198), receiving yards (2,816), and touchdown receptions (34), while posting one of the top receiving seasons in school history with 98 catches, 1,425 receiving yards, and 18 touchdowns in 2023.Â
