Biography

2021: Preston appeared in 12 games for UIW in 2021. Additionally, Preston was selected as a 1st-team 2021 Preseason All-Southland selection. Anchoring the Cardinals defensive line, Preston was responsible for 26 tackles, and 1 tackle-for-loss throughout the season. He had a season high 6 tackles against Nicholls State University on October 16. Preston concluded the season by being named to the First Team All-Southland Conference team.
 
In addition to his work on the field, Preston was named to Southland Conference All-Academic team. Currently pursuing a major in Kinesiology with a minor in Education History, Preston earned a 3.02 GPA this past fall.

2020 (Junior): (Spring 2021)  Started all six games at defensive tackle making 15 tackles (4 unassisted, 11 assisted) with 2.5 tackles for loss, and one sack...had a season-high four total tackles at Lamar on March 6...named to the Southland All-Conference second-team.

2019 (Sophomore): Played in 12 games… registered 10 tackles with four unassisted and six assisted… tallied 1.5 tackles for loss for five yards, including 0.5 sacks for four yards at Sam Houston.

2018 (Freshman): Appeared in six games… registered two solo and five assisted tackles for seven tackles overall.
