University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2014 (Freshman): Triebes served as the team's backup catcher as a freshman. He appeared in 20 games and started 15 for the Cardinals. He had multi-hit games in back-to-back days against Northwestern State. He drove in two runs against Abilene Christian. He had 102 chances behind the plate withouth commiting an error. He thew out 12 base-stealers out of 39 attempts.  He was named to the Southland Commissioner's Honor Roll.

High School: Triebes played baseball at the Hendrickson High School. In 2011 and 2012 he was a member of the all-district honorable mention team and was Academic All-State in his senior year. In 2012 and 2013 he was the team defensive MVP.  He led the team to three straight District 25-4A titles.  He played in the Arizona Senior Fall Classic All-Academic Game that required at least a 3.75 GPA.  He was a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal:  Triebes is the son of Phil and Margaret Triebes and has a sister, Katie. He is studying business administration and was born on August 4,1995.
