2015 (Junior):  Pitts was a backup catcher for the Cardinals in his first year with the team.  He had a game-winning, pinch-hit, 2-out, 2-run single at Lamar.  He started two games at Nicholls and walked four times, including three times on April 4.  He posted a solid .353 on-base percentage for the season.

Previous: Pitts played baseball at Grayson College for two years. His team won their conference both years he played. He made the Dean's list from 2012-14. 

High School: Pitts played baseball at Flower Mound Marcus where he was the MVP in 2012, defensive player of the year in 2011, and was named the captain of the team for 2011-12. He earned second team all-district honors as a senior.

Personal: Pitts is the son of Katie and Courtney Pitts and is studying business administration.  He has three siblings, Mitchell, Corey and Gena.  He was born December 2, 1993.
