Biography
High School: Miller posted great numbers at Concordia Lutheran High School. Throughout his high school career, Trey scored 1,380 points, was a four time district champion, and was named team captain twice. In 2021-2022 as a senior, he averaged 19.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, 5.1 assists, and 4.3 steals per game, leading the Crusaders to a district championship. For his outstanding season, Miller was named VYPE Men's Basketball Private School Player of the Year, and National Christian School Athletic Association (NCSAA) 2022 National Player of the Year. As a junior, Trey and the Crusaders went 21-5 and won the district championship. In addition, his senior year he along with the rest of Concordia Lutheran's Concert Choir, won the 21-22 TAPPS 6A Vocal Music State Championship.
Personal: Son of Walter and Tangela Miller... He has two older brothers named Walter and Sherman and two older sisters named Shante and Ashley... Trey is studying to become a physical therapist.
Coach Cunningham says: "It's fantastic to be able to call Trey Miller, the state of Texas's 2021-22 private school state Player of the Year, an Incarnate Word Cardinal. Along with being a big time producer on the hardwood, he performed very well in the classroom. The four-time basketball District Champ at Concordia Lutheran HS out of the Houston area, was also a member of Concordia's choir & the Prom King. He was twice named Team Captain of Concordia Lutheran's Basketball team. We are excited to welcome Trey Miller to campus.
