Biography

2018 (Junior): Played in 16 games and started three... recorded three hits, three runs and three RBI… had an on-base percentage of .375 with two sacrifice bunts.

2017 (Sophomore): He appeared in 29 games 17 of which as a starter. He had a .259 BA, 14 hits, 10 runs, and a .357 OB%. He had 47 putouts and 33 assists. 

High School:  Gutierrez was on the baseball team at Bishop Lynch High School.  He earned first team all-district and honorable mention All-State honors as a senior and he was second team all-district as a junior.

Personal:  Gutierrez is the son of Simon and Rosa Maria Gutierrez and is studying rehabilitative sciences.  He has one brother, Simon.  He was born on June 30, 1997.  He has a cousin, Jacob, who plays for Texas Southern.
