University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2013 (Junior):  Armijo made 17 starts and played in 27 games at third base and catcher.  He belted a home run in his first career at bat against Arkansas Tech at Houston's Minute Maid Park.  He went 2-for-3 with a double, RBI and run scored at UH-Victoria.  He had two hits and drove in a two runs against Eastern New Mexico.  He was hit by pitch eight times in only 72 plate appearances.  He had four doubles on the season.

Previous:  Armijo played one year at both Marion Military Junior College and Richland Junior College.

High School:  Armijo played baseball and football at Highlands High School.

Personal:  Armijo is the son of Cresencio and Judith Armijo and is studying athletic training with a minor in kinesiology.  He has a brother, Cresencio, who played baseball at Incarnate Word and a sister, Jackie.  He was born on March 6, 1992.
