2024 Season (Junior - Nicholls State University): Spears played in two games his junior year at Nicholls

2023 Season (Sophomore - Nicholls State University): In the 11 games played at Nicholls, Spears was named Southland Conference Player of the Year after totaling 1330 all purpose yards and nine touchdowns. He rushed for 769 yards on 115 carries with the highest yards per attempt on the team with 6.5 YPC. He also caught the ball 16 times for 260 yards, with the longest being 88 yards. On the ground, Spears rushed for six touchdowns and received three touchdowns through the air. He was also their lead return specialist, totalling 301 yards on 12 returns.

2022 Season (Redshirt Freshman - Nicholls State University): Played in all 11 games as a backup running back and was the primary kick returner... led the Southland with 636 returns yards and ranked fourth with a 23.6 yard average... had four returns of 40 yards or longer, including a long of 48 against Southeastern... rushed the ball 11 times for 43 yards... recorded three receptions for nine yards.  

2021 Season (Freshman - Nicholls State University): Member of the practice squad... received a redshirt.

At Brother Martin: Two-year starter for Mark Bonis at Brother Martin… earned LSWA 5A All-State honorable mention and 9-5A All-District First Team as a senior… was a Louisiana Football Magazine First Team selection… led the Crusaders to an undefeated regular season, a district championship and appearance in the state semifinals… eclipsed 100 yards rushing in five of his seven games played, totaling 903 yards and 19 touchdowns (1 receiving)… rushed 24 times for 187 yards and three touchdowns to clinch the district championship over John Curtis and was named WGNO Player of the Week … had 237 yards and five total touchdowns against Ponchatoula, earning Fox 8 Player of the Week… scored four touchdowns in a win over Jesuit… … finished junior year with over 1,000 all purpose yards and 11 TDs.

Personal: Birthday is November 21... parents are Lakeisha McLaughlin and Jermaine Spears... has six brothers and sisters... majoring in business management.
