                        Biography
                    
                                                
                        2016-17 (Junior): Frias started all 29 games as a junior. She led the team with 79 three-pointers, shooting 40 percent from behind the arc. Frias tied an NCAA record for made three-pointers in a game, with 12 in a win over LSU-Alexandria. She scored a career-high 42 points in the victory. Frias hauled in a career-high 7 rebounds against Southeastern La.
2015-16 (Sophomore): Frias played in all 29 games and started nearly half of them. She opened the season by scoring 14 points on 4-of-8 shooting from three-point range in a win over LSU-Alexandria. Frias had a stretch of making at least one three-pointer in 11 straight games. She grabbed a season-high 6 rebounds and had 6 points in a narrow loss to Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. She poured in a season-high 15 points on 5-of-5 shooting against Houston Baptist, while playing just 19 minutes. She led the Cardinals with 34 three-pointers.
2014-15 (Freshman): Frias appeared in 27 games and made 19 starts for UIW as a freshman. She led the team with 45 three-pointers made, while shooting 35.4 percent from beyond the arc. Early in the season she knocked down 4 three-pointers and had 4 steals in a win over St. Thomas. Frias poured in a season-high 23 points, made 5 three-pointers and had 4 assists against Our Lady of the Lake. She scored in double figures 8 times, including a 16-point performance against McNeese. Nearly two-thirds of her field goal attempts were three-pointers. She was named to the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
Prior to UIW:
At Georgetown: Frias played at Georgetown High School for coach Rhonda Farney. She was named to First Team All-District, TABC All-Region and TGCA All-Region in her junior and senior seasons. Frias was TGCA All-State as a senior. She led her team to a state championship in 2013 and the semi-finals in 2014. At the conclusion of her high school career, Frias earned a spot as a TABC All-Star and a TGCA All-Star. Georgetown did not lose a single district game in 2013 and 2014 and made three playoff appearances over Frias’ career.
Personal: Frias is the daughter of Steve and Grace Frias and is studying Accounting and Management Information Sytems. She has one brother, Austin, and one sister, Krystal. She was born December 1, 1995. She is a member of the UIW Student-Athlete Advisory Council, Fellowship of Christian Athletes and the NCAA Equality and Diversity Subcommittee.
