Previuos: Eckley played two years of baseball at South Mountain Community College. His team was the NJCAA regional champion in 2014,

High School: Eckley played baseball at Grossmont High School where his team won the section championship in 2010 and were runner up in 2009 and 2011.

Personal: Eckley is the son of Pete and Jenny Eckley. He is studying business administration and was born May 3, 1994.
