2014 (Junior):  Cole did not play at all until March and then he quickly took over the starting role at second base.  He played outstanding defense with just eight errors while making 133 assists.  He showed good patience at the plate with 15 walks and had seven multi-hit games.  He scored three times in a game against New Orleans and scored five times in the series.  He was 3-for-4 at Southeastern Louisiana and was 5-of-11 in the series.  He went 3-for-4 with three RBI's and a triple against Northwestern State.  He closed out the season by going 5-for-9 in a three-game series with Abilene Christian.  He was named to the Southland Commissioner's Honor Roll.

Previous:  Cole played two seasons of baseball at Howard Payne.  He started 35 games as a sophomore hitting .245 with 18 runs and 11 RBI's while committing only four errors.  As a freshman, he started half of the team's game.  He hit .352 with a .486 on-base percentage.

High School:  Cole played baseball at Tomball High School.  He helped lead them to the third round of the playoffs his senior year.

Personal:  Cole is the son of Ken and Teresa Cole and has a brother, Dalton. He is majoring in criminal justice with a minor in psychology and kinesiology.
