2018 (Sophomore): Played in 49 games and started 48… recorded 48 hits, 36 runs and 63 RBI…. tallied nine doubles and two home runs for a .358 slugging percentage… also had a .376 on-base percentage… stole five bases and walked 29 times… had 12 multi-hit games, including a four-hit outing against Prairie View A&M (Apr. 10)… also scored a season-high five runs against Prairie View A&M (Apr. 10)… registered nine multi-RBI games… had 22 hits, 17 runs and 14 RBIs in Southland Conference action… led UIW to a win over Notre Dame on Feb. 22 with two hits and a season-best four RBI… had a team-high 20-game hitting streak and reached base in a team-best 27 games.

2017 (Freshman): He started 52 of the 53 games he appeared in. His .288 BA was the fourth-highest on the team... had 57 hits (3rd highest on team), 34 RBI's (team high), nine doubles, three home runs, and had a .401 OB%. On the defensive side he had 41 putouts and 99 assists... was named to the SLC Commissioner's Honor Roll with a 3.61 GPA. 

High School: 32-6A All Valley Newcomer of the Year (2013) and 1st team All-District team member (2015).

Personal: Anaya was born September 23, 1997, and is studying Rehabilitative Science. He is the son of Oscar and Gina and has one sibling, Justin.
