High School: Played for Malakoff High School…in 2018 he won the district 13-3A Pitcher of the Year, in 2019 he won district 18-3A MVP, in 2021 he won Texas Sports Writers Association Player of the Year, and the All-East Texas Offensive Player of the Year.
 
Personal: Son to Christie and Gary Nations…has two siblings Dustin and Aaron…majoring in business with a minor in sports management…Born on October 1, 2002, in Sulphur Springs, Texas.
