2023 (Senior): Selected to the Southland Conference All-Defensive Team. Second baseman, De Leon, started 52 games for the Cardinals with a season-high four hits at Grambling State and six RBIs against the University of Louisiana Monroe, and two doubles against HCU. DeLeon led the Cardinals in hits and on-base percentage. Defensively, he finished the season with a .996 fielding percentage. Selected to the SLC All-Academic Second Team. 

2022 (Junior): DeLeon had 31 runs, 37 hits and eleven doubles on the season. As in infielder, he’s accumulated 99 catches with 32 put outs, 62 assists and 17 double plays. 

Previous: Attended Cochise College in 2020 where he graduated with an associate degree in General Studies.
 
High School: Graduated in the class of 2018 from El Paso Franklin High School where he had achieved 1st Team All State 6A SS in 2018, PG preseason All American/ Texas Region.
 
Personal: Son to Jaime and Gloria De Leon…he has one sibling, Adriana who was a cross country runner at El Paso Community College for two years…majoring in Business Administration Finance…Born on August 10, 2000, in El Paso, Texas.
