Biography

2023: A veteran with the UIW receiving core, Perez totaled 325 yards on 22 catches with two touchdowns. He had a season-high of 77 reception yards at Northern Colorado and his longest reception came at Abilene Christian for 49 yards. 

2022: Perez was once again a leader amongst the Cardinal receiving core and was a key contributor on special teams. He finished the season playing in 10 games, recording 16 receptions for 198-yards and 3 touchdowns. His best game came against Faulkner University, where he posted 4 receptions for 48 yards receiving. He also caught a critical 36-yard TD pass to open the season against Southern Illinois 

2021: Appeared in 6 games for UIW this past season. He finished the season with 2 receptions for 91 yards. A big play creator, Perez had a 46 yard reception against McNeese State University and a 45 yard reception against Houston Baptist University.

2020 (Redshirt Sophomore): (Spring 2021) Did not play.

2019 (Redshirt Freshman): Played in 10 games and started five… had 25 catches for 219 yards and a touchdown… averaged 8.8 yards and caught a long reception of 25 yards… also chipped in seven rushes for 17 yards and one touchdown… had a long rush of eight yards… returned four kicks 67 yards for an average of 16.8 yards per kick return… recorded a long kick return of 36 yards… had a season-best 63 yards and a touchdown on six receptions against Texas Southern.
