University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2021: A second-team All-Southland Conference punter, Nguyen played a substantial role in the Cardinals special teams during the 2021 season. He would finish the season with over 1700 total punting yards, averaging 44.57 yards per punt. He would also be responsible for 12 punts over 50 yards, and 20 punts within 20 yards. His longest punt of the year would come in the playoffs against Stephen F. Austin University, where he averaged over 51 yards per punt, and one which was recorded at 61 yards. 

Nguyen was named to the Southland All-Academic team following the 2021 season. He is currently pursuing a major in Sociology and a minor in Two-Dimensional Art, while maintain a 3.63 GPA.

2020 (Junior): (Spring 2021)  Started all six games at punter and also handled kickoff duties for three games...recorded 16 punts and had six downed inside the 20 with a net average of 43.13 yards...season long was 67-yards at McNeese on February 27.
