University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2021 (Sophomore): Started in 46 games with a .243 batting average…had 35 hits with nine doubles and two triples…had 23 RBIs and scored 30 times…started the season with an eight-game hit streak against Texas Southern, Texas A&M, Houston and Northwestern State…had two three-hit games against Central Arkansas on March 27 and Rice on April 13…SLC Commissioner’s Honor Roll recipient.

Previous:  Played in 54 games in two seasons at San Jacinto College…had a .293 career average with 44 hits, five doubles and two home runs…added 22 RBIs, 41 runs scored and 15 stolen bases…went 5-for-5 in a game against Laredo in freshman season...a member of Dean’s List.

High School: Played at Richmond Foster High School…helped the team to a district championship and the third round of the 5A state tournament…earned district Newcomer of the Year in 2016…district MVP and 5A All-State in 2018.

Personal: Son to Daniel and Lorie Lima…Zach has two siblings, Robert and Lauren…majoring in cultural studies…Born March 17, 2000.
