2021 (Freshman):  Appeared in 20 games with 11 starts behind the plate…had a .216 batting average with eight hits and three doubles…had three RBIs and four runs scored.

High School: Played at PSJA Early College High School…helped the team to three district championships…named All-District Player of the Year as a junior, All-District MVP in sophomore season and All-District Newcomer of the Year as a freshman.

Personal: The son of Rene De Leon and Melissa Vela…has two brothers, Jacob and Aden and two sisters, Jenessa and Ayrabella…father played soccer at Fresno State and San Diego State…majoring in biology…born December 12, 2001.
