2020 (Sophomore): Appeared in ten matches and started two…played a total of 40 sets…second on the team with ten service aces…had 90 digs and 33 assists on the year.

Prior to UIW: Began her colligate volleyball career at Lee College in Baytown, Texas. Transferred to UIW in the spring of her freshman season. 

High School: Sumrall received Academic All-District three seasons in a row, 2016-18, Academic All-State in 2018, first Team All-District three seasons in a row, 2016-18, All-Area Defensive Player of the Year on 2016, third Team All-State in 2016, second Team All-State in 2017, first Team All-Area two season in a row on 2017-18, GHVCA Alternative Player in 2017, Houston Chronicle Player of the Week in 2018, GHVCA East Team All-Star recipient in 2018 and made the VYPE/K-MAC All-State Team in 2018. 

Personal: Daughter of Todd and Melissa Sumrall, has one sibling, Madalyn Sumrall. Majoring in International Business at UIW. Born in Houston, Texas on December 29, 2000.
