Biography

Moberly Area Community College (2016-2018): Described by her coach as "the glue of the starting lineup," Alexis started all 33 games of her sophomore season at MACC. She finished second on the team in rebounds (6.8 per game) and recorded three double-doubles. Named 2nd Team All-Conference in 2018, her team finished third in the NJCAA National Tournament, with a 32-1 overall record. She also earned 2nd team Academic All-American honors in her sophomore season. Henry signed with UIW Women's basketball with her twin sister, Lunden, on May 3, 2018.

High School: Averaged just shy of a double-double as a senior at Southeast HS (15.4 points and 9.5 rebounds per game). Her efforts earned her Honorable Mention All-State and CS8 All-Conference honors. Henry ran track in high school, winning a 4x100 relay State 2A title in 2016.

Personal: A native of Springfield, Ill. is the daughter of Kerry and Winston Henry. She has an older brother, Jalen, and a twin sister, Lunden, who also plays for UIW. Henry's mother played basketball at Illinois and her brother played at SIU-Edwardsville (2014-18). Alexis is older than her twin sister by two minutes. She is majoring in nursing and chose UIW because, " I was able to continue playing basketball with my sister. And, I really liked the coaching staff and city"
