2018 (Junior): One of two Cardinals to play and start in all 55 games… led the team with a .371 batting average and 82 hits… recorded 44 runs and 30 RBI… had 82 hits including nine doubles, a triple and two home runs for a .448 slugging percentage… ranked second on the team with a .440 on-base percentage… had 21 multi-hit games with 13 two-hit games, four three-hit games, a four-hit game and three five-hit games… had a 21-game reached base streak… went 6-for-8 in stolen base attempts… had five multi-RBI games… recorded a 4-for-6 game including four RBI, three runs, two doubles and a walk at PVAMU on April 17… had a perfect 5-for-5 including four runs, two RBI and a walk against PVAMU on April 10… also recorded another perfect 5-for-5 game with one run against Northwestern State on May 6.

2017 (Sophomore): He started 44 of the 49 games... led the team with a .347 BA. His 61 hits was the second-highest on the team... had 35 runs, 13 doubles, and 19 RBI's... also had a team high .422 OB%. On the defensive side he had 71 putouts... was named to the SLC Commissioner's Honor Roll with a 3.32 GPA. 

2016 (Freshman): Gonzalez was the starting left fielder for the Cardinals as a freshman... played in 43 games and started 39 of them... hit .256, collected 41 hits and scored 15 runs...hit five doubles, four triples and drove in 13 runs... collected three hits, including two triples, and drove three RBI in a 7-5 win over Nicholls... also had a nine-game hitting streak... was named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll. 

High School:  Gonzalez was on the baseball team at United High School... helped lead the team to a school record 34-3 mark as a sophomore...hit .430 with seven doubles and 27 runs as a senior... opened his career by hitting .351 with 23 runs, 19 runs batted in and eight doubles as a freshman.

Personal:  Gonzalez is the son of Jesus and Regina Gonzalez and is studying Business Administration with a minor in Criminal Justice.  He has a sister, Regina.  He was born on October 22, 1996.
