2018 (Freshman): Played in 24 games and started in eight… had five hits, five runs, two doubles and 4 RBI… recorded an on-base percentage of .238 and two stolen bases.

High School: Four year letter at South Grand Prairie High School. First Team All-District Centerfielder (2016)... District 7-6A’s Offensive Player of the Year (2017)... Most Valuable Player of the Year Award recipient (2017). Dallas Morning News/SportsDay HS Player of the Week (2017)... Won the Perfect Game National Championship in Atlanta, Georgia with select team the Dallas Tigers (2015)... Student Council member and Recycling Inclusion Club member.

Personal: Rodriguez was born August 21, 1998, and is the son of Jay and Gloria. He has one sister, Marissa. He is studying Sports Management. After he is done playing baseball he wants to coach at the high school or college level.
