2018 (Senior): Appeared in five games… had one strikeout in five innings pitched.

2017 (Junior): He made 23 appearances in relief and had a 4-1 record. He recorded 16 strikeouts on the year. He was named to the SLC Commissioner's Honor Roll with a 3.54 GPA. 

High School: District first team Pitcher 2014, 2nd team All-State 3B (2014), and Amarillo Baseball Athlete of the Year (2014).

Personal: Salazar was born on December 25, 1995 and is studying Finance in Banking. He is a transfer to UIW from Midland College, where he received his Associates degree. He is the son of Agustin and Marisela, and has three siblings, Damian, Sammuel, and Isela.
