2015 (Junior):  Allen was a key member of the special teams unit and played in all 11 games.  In the season finale, he was given more playing time and made five tackles.  He was named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.

2014 (Sophomore):  Allen played in nine games for the Cardinals.  He had a season high four tackles in a loss at Abilene Christian.  He recorded two tackles, including a sack against Sam Houston State.

2013 (Freshman):  Allen quickly worked his way into the defensive rotation at linebacker as a true freshman.  He had four tackles, including a half tackle for loss in the season opener at #6 Central Arkansas.  He picked off a pass in a shutout win over Langston and followed that with a season high five tackles at #5 Sam Houston State.  He had at least one tackle in each of the final six games of the year and finished with 22 stops on the season.  He had a tackle for loss in the win over Houston Baptist.

High School:  Allen was on the football and track teams at Lakeview Centennial High School.  He earned second team all-district honors as a junior after making 111 tackles, 51 solo, including eight tackles for loss and seven sacks.  As a senior, he notched 120 tackles, 80 solo, en route to earning first team all-district honors.  He added two sacks and two interceptions in only eight games.

Personal:  Allen is the son of Michael and Jacqueline Allen and is studying criminal justice with a minor in kinesiology.  His father played football for Oklahoma State.  He has a sister, Charla.  He was born on October 8, 1994.
