Biography

2016 (Freshman): Preiss made 20 appearances as a freshman and started three games. He finished the season 0-1, with 28.2 innings, 19 walks and 17 strikeouts.

High School:  Preiss was on the baseball team at La Vernia High School.  He was named an honorable mention all-region pitcher by Perfect Game as a senior.  He was an underclass honorable mention Perfect Game All-American as a junior.

Personal:  Preiss is the son of Gregory and Tammy Preiss and is studying kinesiology.  He has a sister, Kayla.  He was born on February 11, 1997.
