Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll

2015 (Junior): Rodriguez split time at second base with Blake Woosley and started 25 games there.  He had the second highest batting average (.293) among hitters with at least 75 at bats.  He had a .383 on base percentage and only made three errors in 107 chances for a .973 fielding percentage.  He had six multi-hit games and four multi-RBI games. He went 3-for-4 against Houston Baptist and Central Arkansas and collected three RBI's in games against New Mexico State, Central Arkansas and Abilene Christian.  He ended the season on a hot streak going 12-for-24 in the month of May.  He was named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.

Previous: Rodriguez played two years of baseball at Grayson County College. He earned second team all-conference honors and won the North Texas Conference championship twice. 

High School: Rodriguez played baseball at Corpus Christi Carroll High School where he earned All-State and all-district honors. His team made three state playoff appearances and won two State championships. 

Personal: Rodriguez is the son of Frank and Nora Rodriguez and is studying criminal justice.  He has one sibling, Victoria.  He was born on November 12, 1993.
