Biography
2017 (Junior): She appeared in 10 games with three as a starter. She was named to the SLC Honor Roll with a 3.60 GPA.
2016 (Sophomore): During her sophomore year, Sabrina played in 15 games and started in four of them. She made two out of 10 taken shots as a midfielder for the Cardinals. She was named to the SLC Honor Roll with a 3.31 GPA.
2015 (Freshman): Martineau had an impressive freshman season, playing in all 19 games and starting in 17 of them. She took 17 shots and scored three goals, making her the second-highest scorer for the Cardinals last season. Her goal against Lamar helped the Cardinals preserve a 1-1 tie in a conference game. She ended the season with the second-highest minutes played, 1,344 in total.
High School: Martineau was on the soccer team at McKinney North High School. She was a first team all-district player as a junior and senior. She was the team's most valuable player as a senior, midfielder of the year as a junior and utility player of the year as a sophomore and junior. She helped lead the team to three district titles. She was a four-time academic all-district selection and took home academic all-State honors as a senior. She was a member of the National Honor Society.
Personal: Martineau is the daughter of Robert and Michelle Martineau and is studying rehabilitative sciences with a minor in psychology. She has two brothers, Sean and Trevor. She was born on July 7, 1997 in Montreal, Canada. She calls World Cup winning soccer star Carli Lloyd her favorite athlete.
