2014-15 (Junior): In her first season at UIW, Brooks played in 27 games and started 23 of those.  She averaged 9.0 points per game and 6.3 rebounds. She knocked down the game winning free throws with just a few seconds left in the game at Houston.  A few days later, she had a strong performance against Indiana posting nine points with six rebounds.  Brooks had a huge double-double game against Grand Canyon with 19 points and 17 rebounds. She had 11 points and nine rebounds, all in the second half against McNeese State. She closed out the season strong scoring in double figures in six of her final seven games.  She had 17 points, 14 rebounds and five blocks in a loss at Houston Baptist and then closed the year with a season high 22 points against the same HBU squad.  She led the team in field goal percentage, free throws made and blocks.  She was named to the Southland Conference Commissioner's Honor Roll.

Previous: Brooks played at Seward County Community College for coach Toby Wynn. In her last season at SCCC, Brooks played and started in all 32 games. She averaged 15.0 points per game and had a 51.6 field goal percentage. Defensively, she averaged 7.8 rebounds and 2.2 blocks per game. Brooks was named first team all-conference and second team all-region.  She was on the Dean’s List in all four semesters.

High School: Brooks was on the basketball, soccer and volleyball teams at Highland Park High School. In 2012, she was named outstanding overall female athlete and Centennial League Player of the Year. She helped Highland Park reach its first 15-win season in school history. In 2011, she was named honorable mention all-state and second team all-league. She led her team to back-to-back 5A state tournament appearances.  She was a three-time first team All-City selection in soccer.  She was also a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Brooks is the daughter of Earl and Vanessa Brooks and is studying biology.  She has five siblings; Earl, Troy, Lanae, Jeremiah and David. She was born November 26, 1993.
