2015 (Junior): Garza made 23 starts at outside hitter and played in all 99 sets for the cardinals. She was fourth on the team in kills and averaged 2.08 kills per set with a .153 hitting percentage. Garza was also a big part of the team's defense as she averaged 2.56 digs per game while also contributing 0.24 blocks per game. She had over 10 kills in nine different matches and she also had over 10 digs in 12 different matches collecting five double-doubles. Garza's best match came against McNeese State were she had 13 kills and 23 digs with an attacking percentage of .351. Against Southern, Garza had a season high 15 kills and a .652 attacking percentage. Garza was named to the UTRGV All-Tournament Team.   

2014 (Sophomore): Garza was the only player that started and played in all 34 games this season.  She recorded the third most kills and second most digs on the team.  Her best match of the season came against Abilene Christian, she slammed 15 kills and added 11 digs.  She collected seven double-doubles, posted 2.55 digs per set, and 2.32 points per set. She led the team with a 94.8 serving percentage. She had a season high 22 digs against Denver.  She recorded 13 kills and posted a season high .571 attack at New Orleans.  Garza was named to the College Park Maverick Classic All-Tournament Team.

2013 (Freshman):  Garza was one of the top all-around players on the team recording at least 270 digs and kills on the season.  She was second on the team with 10 double-doubles, including a 24-kill, .400 attack, 14-dig performance in a 5-set loss at Southeastern Louisiana.  She pounded 20 kills and boasted a .354 attack in a 5-set win over Texas Tech.  She was consistent in the service game with 16 aces against just 11 service errors for the season.  She led the team in reception percentage with a 96.6 percent success rate. 

High School:  Garza played volleyball at Earl Warren High School.  She led her team to the Area Finals as a senior and to the Bi-District playoffs in each of her four seasons.  She was named to the 5A All-Area Team and was her squad's most valuable player.  She was a two-time first team all-district selection and was a second team choice as a sophomore.  She holds school records for career kills (1,155), career digs (1,173) and single season kills (513).  She was a second team academic all-district player as a senior and was a member of the National Honor Society.

Personal:  Garza is the daughter of Fred and Montye Garza and is studying kinesiology.  She has two sisters, Kristin and Mallory.  She was born on August 30, 1995.
