2015 (Junior): Morris started 52 games for the Cardinals. He started games at SS, LF, RF and DH. He hit .262, and led the team in hits (54), doubles (15), total bases (85), and walks (20). He was also tied for the team-lead in triples (2) and home runs (4). He had 13 multi-hit games, including a four-hit game against Villanova. He had two 3-RBI games against Prairie View A&M and Houston Baptist. He hit a 2-out walk-off double against HBU that scored two runs to win it 3-2. He hit safely in his first seven games with the Cardinals going 12-for-24 with seven walks, six RBI's, three doubles and two home runs. He posted a 9-game hitting streak from April 19 through May 8 going 13-for-38.
Previous: Morris played baseball at Scottsdale Community College for two years. In 2013 they made it to the Junior College World Series and he was named to the sophomore all-star game.
High School: Morris played baseball and football at Saguaro High School. His baseball team won the State Championship in 2010 and 2011. He earned first team all-region twice in his high school career, and was honorable mention all-State.
Personal: Morris is the son of Rick and Christi Morris and is studying criminal justice. He has six siblings, Tyler, Taylor, Lauryan, Dana, Jessie and Katie. He was born on June 8, 1994. His sister, Dana plays softball at Villanova. His dad played baseball at Arizona State and then played in the minor leagues for 10 years.
