2015 (Junior):  Hoffman started the year as the starting right fielder and finished the year as the starting shortstop.  He led the team with 36 RBI's while compiling 11 doubles and four homers.  He led the team with 14 multi-hit and 10 multi-RBI games.  He had a big series at New Mexico State going 7-of-14 with six RBI's, two doubles and a home run.  He drove in eight runs in the three-game series with Central Arkansas, including four in the series finale.  He went 5-for-10 in the final two games at Abilene Christian.  He opened the series at Omaha by going 3-for-5 with three RBI's.  He also made four early season relief appearances on the mound.

Previous: Hoffman played baseball at Chandler-Gilbert Community College for two years.  He hit .299 with 59 hits in a wood bat league.

High School: Hoffman played baseball at Millenium High School.  He broke the school record for wins in a season, twice.  He was named district pitcher of the year for both years. He earned second team All-State honors. 

Personal: Hoffman is the son of Charles and Leslie Hoffman and is studying cultural studies.  He has a brother, Kyle.  He was born on February 11, 1993.
