University of the Incarnate Word Athletics

2013 (Sophomore):  Moorman began the year as the starting defensive end for UIW.  He was injured in the fourth game of the year and did not get back to game action until the final two games of the year.  He had a season high five tackles in the season opener at Central Arkansas.  He had two tackles and a tackle for loss in a shutout of Texas College.  He had a half sack in a shutout win over Langston.  He finished the year with 13 tackles and two tackles for loss.

2012 (Freshman):  Moorman played in 10 games and had at least one tackle in eight of the games.  He had three tackles, including his first career sack in the season opener against Texas College.  He contributed three tackles the following week at Sam Houston State.  He registered a season high four tackles at Texas A&M-Kingsville.

2011 (Red-Shirt):  Moorman red-shirted his first year at Incarnate Word.

High School:  Moorman was on the football, baseball, basketball and track teams at Smithson Valley High School.  He was a Greater San Antonio Area All Star and earned Honorable Mention All-State honors as a senior when he led his team to the Area Finals after winning District and Bi-District championships.  He earned first team all-area, all-district and All-Comal County honors.  He was a two-time academic all-district selection.

Personal:  Moorman is the son of Scott and Jill Moorman and is studying general business.  He has two brothers, Jacob and Luke, and was born on April 20, 1993.
